MS (Laparoscopy and GI Endoscopy)

M.S. (Laparoscopy and GI Endoscopy) stands for Master of Surgery with a specialization in Laparoscopy and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. This program focuses on advanced surgical techniques for minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic surgery and endoscopic procedures related to the gastrointestinal system. Graduates of this program are trained to perform surgeries using small incisions and specialized tools, resulting in faster recovery times and reduced risk for patients.

Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows a surgeon to access the inside of the abdomen and pelvis using a laparoscope, a thin, flexible tube with a camera attached to it. This procedure is commonly used for diagnosing and treating various conditions such as abdominal pain, infertility, tumors, and cysts.

GI Endoscopy

GI endoscopy, or gastrointestinal endoscopy, is a procedure that involves the use of an endoscope, a flexible tube with a camera and light attached to it, to examine the digestive tract. This procedure allows doctors to visualize and diagnose conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, and intestines, such as ulcers, polyps, and inflammation.
