2. Language Proficiency:

4. Letters of Recommendation:

- These letters should be from individuals who are familiar with the applicant's previous academic work and can provide insight into their potential for success in a Ph.D. program.

5. Statement of Purpose:

- A statement of purpose outlining the applicant's academic and professional goals, research interests, and reasons for pursuing a Ph.D. in English is required.

- The statement should be well-written, articulate, and provide a clear understanding of the applicant's motivations and aspirations.
