CISF AC (EXE) LDCE

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) conducts the Assistant Commandant (Executive) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) to recruit eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Commandant (Executive) in the force. This exam is conducted to promote Sub-Inspectors (SI) and Inspectors to the rank of Assistant Commandant.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidates must be serving Sub-Inspectors (SI) or Inspectors in the CISF.

2. They should have completed at least four years of regular service in the force.

3. The upper age limit for the exam is 35 years as of the closing date of the application.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination: The written exam consists of two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper I includes topics such as General Ability and Intelligence, Professional Skill, and General Studies. Paper II is an essay, précis writing, and comprehension test.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify in the written examination are eligible for the Physical Standard Test. The PST includes measurements of height, weight, and chest.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who clear the PST are then required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test. The PET includes tasks such as a race, long jump, and shot put.

4. Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify in the PET are called for a personal interview. The interview is conducted to assess the candidate's suitability for the role of Assistant Commandant.

5. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the personal interview are required to undergo a medical examination to ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the job.

Training:

Selected candidates undergo rigorous training at the CISF Academy in Hyderabad for a period of one year. The training includes both theoretical and practical sessions to equip the candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required for the role of an Assistant Commandant.
