The test is divided into five sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and Global Environment. Each section consists of 40 questions, making a total of 200 questions. The time duration for the test is 150 minutes.

Scoring and Evaluation:

Each correct answer in the MAT carries one mark, while each incorrect answer incurs a negative 0.25 mark. Unanswered questions do not have any negative marking. The scores obtained by candidates in the MAT are accepted by various management institutes and business schools across India for their admission processes.
