The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized examination conducted to assess the aptitude and skills of candidates aspiring to pursue management education. Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for appearing in the MAT, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. Final-year undergraduate students can also apply. There is no age limit for appearing in the MAT.

The MAT is conducted both in offline (paper-based) and online (computer-based) modes. The test is divided into five sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and Global Environment. Each section consists of 40 questions, making a total of 200 questions. The time duration for the test is 150 minutes.

Scoring and Evaluation:

Each correct answer in the MAT carries one mark, while each incorrect answer incurs a negative 0.25 mark. Unanswered questions do not have any negative marking. The scores obtained by candidates in the MAT are accepted by various management institutes and business schools across India for their admission processes.
