3. Tier 3: This is a descriptive paper conducted in pen and paper mode. Candidates are required to write essays, précis, applications, letters, etc., to assess their writing skills.

4. Tier 4: This is a skill test or computer proficiency test, depending on the nature of the post applied for. It is qualifying in nature and does not carry any marks.
