What is Textile Engineering?
Textile engineering involves designing and controlling all aspects of fiber, textile and apparel processes, fibers, fabric products and machinery. Textile engineers are involved in many aspects of textile manufacturing, including process engineering, R&D, production control, technical sales, quality control, and the equipment for the processes that make all these fibers, fabrics and yarns. Textile engineering is growing in demand due to diverse cultures and traditions worldwide and is one of the most popular disciplines in engineering.
